Jürg Kaufmann is a Swiss corporate and fine art photographer based in Zurich with his own studio and gallery. Jürg's works are inspired by nature with a strong passion for the sea and the mountains. He grew up in the Italian part of Switzerland close to the alps on the border of lake Lugano and near the Mediterranean Sea. He has an extensive track record in yacht racing and mountaineering.

At age forty, after ten years in Management Consulting, Jürg decided to quit the corporate world and follow his passion for the sea and the mountains with the camera.

Jürg's distinctive style highlights emotions, be it personalities from the economy and sports world, design objects, yachts, or breathtaking landscapes.

In the last decade, he photographed several Olympic Games, America's Cup, big offshore regattas, countless mountain expeditions, portraits of personalities from the economy and sports world, and breathtaking landscapes. He's also currently developing a long-term glacier photo project in cooperation with Swiss enterprises to support science and raise awareness about the impact of climate change on these precious natural resources.

His photographic work can be found globally in private and public collections, notably in exclusive hotels, yacht clubs, and onboard super-yachts. In addition, he published two books, and his work has been published in countless magazines around the globe.

 Jürg recently worked for high-profile brands including Avaloq, Egon Zehnder, Louis Vuitton, Mirabaud, UBS AG, IWC Schaffhausen, Grace Hotels, Swiss Armed Forces, and the Swiss Olympic Sailing Team, Visual China Group, Huawei and Oppo.
