Super Yacht Ulysses

Ultra-luxury yacht Ulysses, bild by Kleven, Owner Mark Zuckerberg, photographer Juerg Kaufmann in Saint Tropez

Have you ever come across something and wondered if it was really necessary?

I recently did. While scrolling through old files, I came across some images we produced of the super yacht Ulysses in Saint-Tropez from 2019.

107 meters long, this behemoth is one of the largest yachts in the world and is currently owned by Mark Zuckerberg. With a cruising speed of 12 knots, Ulysses can travel up to 8000 nautical miles without needing to refuel.

The interior of the yacht is just as impressive as its exterior, with 15 private suites that can accommodate up to 30 guests. There is also an onboard gym, cinema, and dining room designed by renowned designers.

So why am I wondering if this massive vessel is really necessary? Well, because it belongs to someone who already has more money than most of us could ever dream of. And while I'm sure it's a fantastic experience to cruise around on a yacht like this, is it really necessary? What do you think? Is something like this necessary or just excessive?
