For me it was a great opportunity to try out a new camera system and this with nothing less as the Americas [...]

my first swiss sailing calendar
Click on the image to find out more of the calendar When I came back from the Olympic games I found that it was quite a hard and intensive job to take images at the games but even harder is to choose 13 of the 9000 for a calendar. I don’t know how many times [...]

Count down for the games
Since a week I’m here in Palma sailing the coppa del rey on a Farr 40 . That all good but I’m the mainsail trimmer on this boat and this mainsail is so huge and hard to trim that my arms really start to hurt. The entire year I went almost once per week to [...]
how much can you improve teamwork
Teambuilding for match race teams Maybe you wonder why I’m writing about teambuilding for match racing teams. Probably the correct title would be: how much more can you improve teamwork. Since we all saw the Alinghi team working as one perfect team during the America’s Cup, at least in the 2003 Cup, everybody knows that [...]

Sometimes there are days you get up and you think it will be another boring day in the office doing the paperwork as usual if I’m not out sailing and taking pictures. Today seemed to be such a day until I got the phone call from Swiss Olympic asking me if I still can go [...]
What happend in January

Today I will join the Swiss Sailing Team in Magglingen and we will spend a 2 days and talk about rules.
